This project was a cocreation between local artist, David Nixon and Myself.
David expertly built and painted the models, I set up the studio, lighting, backgrounds and photographed them individually.
The intention was to create a short stop frame rotation of each one.

The 'Gallows' were hung from a strand of black cotton. I found the model would rotate automatically, so all I would need to do is capture its natural motion. They all work so well on black, given the macabre styling of the models, lucky that you can get away with more against a black background, as each model is easily isolated.
