2021 - Vermillion Waxcap [Edible if so] (Uncertain)
This comes up in the community garden, but I didn't adequately identify them, so left them alone. Besides, they look so nice nestled in the grass.

One day we were inundated with ladybirds!
They seemed to come from nowhere, flying in through the windows. 2025 was a bumper year for ladybirds.

Mature Cheddar and Garlic Mustard sandwiches - 2026

I had gathered wild, locally growing garlic mustard ('Jack-by-the-hedge' / Alliaria petiolata) seeds and naturalised them into our local community garden growing beds.

The leaves taste earthy and garlicky and a bit like sausages I think! I'm trying to add more wild greens into my diet and this is a good addition.

'Garlic mustard is known for its impressive vitamin A levels, and it has been shown to contain 3-4 times as much vitamin C as oranges.'

Communal/Community Garden

The garden is quite new. It has only been a garden for 15 or so years. before that it was a factory.
I'm trying to fill it with perennial fruits and berries for residents to eat, when they are ripe and in season.
Bit by bit.
