An interactive / 'Object-Based Media exploration developed over two days in 2019 as part of an interdisciplinary team in a Manchester 'Hackjam' - Facilitated by 'Storytellers United', BBC R&D and The University of Salford.
The aim was to explore 'Object-Based Media' over two days and create a prototype project over this time, in answer to the brief.
Our team co-produced 'Monumental - Manchester'
A dynamic history-cum-entertainment experience which enables and encourages explorers of the city,
to seek out, engage with and learn about the backstories of some of the cities many statues of well known people of the past.
The approach was quite tongue in cheek and meant to be a form of entertainment, or 'Info-tainment'.
As 'animation / media / editor... guy', I shot the footage you see here, developed the graphic design and style,
motion and I even got to put my voice and acting skills to 'Friedrich Engels', which was great fun!
